WHERE EDITORIAL MEETS THE IN-BETWEEN
As the tires on the resort's Jeep were stuck spinning in the mud, I held an umbrella over my new wife as we walked barefoot, hand in hand, into our new life together.
It's as though each photo tells the story for us. Escaping together to Costa Rica in 2006, my wife and I had planned a romantic and intimate ceremony on the beach - only to be surprised by rainy skies and muddy roads!
When I think back to my own wedding day, some of our most meaningful photos came from completely unplanned moments.
While I love to borrow lighting techniques and posing cues from my experience assisting fashion and editorial photographers, my best work incorporates an organic storytelling style that truly captures the heart of your day as it unfolds.
After 20+ years working alongside some of the best photographers in the industry, I realized that no matter how beautiful the photo, it falls flat without emotional significance.
Working as a production artist for Conde Nast, I prepared campaigns by organizing magazine spreads for top shelf publications like Vogue and Vanity Fair.
My journey to becoming a wedding photographer started differently than most. I mastered the editing screen before ever stepping behind the lens!

What moment are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
When that day comes, I know that I will treasure the in-between moments of her interacting with her future partner, friends and family members just as much as the bigger milestones like walking her down the aisle. Those little interactions will be what makes her wedding photos truly hers. That's why I'm always inspired to capture thoughtful candid moments throughout your wedding day - so that your wedding album is undeniably yours.
Every time I photograph a Bride's first dance with her Father, I can't help but think ahead to my own daughter getting married.
Sharing in new experiences together fills me with a mix of excitement and comfort, and going on these adventures is one of my favorite ways to make lasting memories as a family. On your wedding day, I'm always looking for ways to bring that same feeling to light through your photos so that you can be transported back to each brief but significant moment.
When I'm not photographing weddings, I love traveling to new places with my wife and daughter.
